MERMAIDS. WELCOME AT THE FINISSAGE

As part of the finissage of the exhibition “Flow: In the Wild Vistula River I’m in love”, the rainbow Island Blanket emerges from the river’s depth. With many gadgets, it will anchor for a moment in the aquarium of the Gdańsk City Gallery. During the Mermaid’s performance everything can happen, but if nothing will happen there will still be a good  reason for shared, sensual joy.  Perhaps on that day, these deceptive creatures will sing a few spanked songs, or at least wave their flirtatious tails with golden scales to the sounds of playback. Lust can be triggered in many ways: by queering carols, fanning the fin casually, wailing sweetly, and even dying in an art institution near a well-groomed Sołdek, who have seen a lot in his marine life …

The organizers do not reserve the right to plug the ears of vistors with stoppers, when the lusts awakened by the Mermaids will reach a degree threatening the homeostasis of Gdańsk residents, visiting mariners and other survivors.
